With the opening of L'Izakaya DASSAI, Chef Alléno, who has been passionate about Japan for over 30 years, reveals a new facet of Japanese gastronomy.
This establishment offers authentic cuisine designed to showcase the richness of traditional Japanese specialties in a warm and friendly atmosphere, true to the spirit of izakayas.
To recreate the ambiance of these popular Japanese eateries, dishes are paired with sake from Maison DASSAI, renowned for its exceptional craftsmanship.
L'Izakaya DASSAI by Yannick Alléno features dishes selected based on the Chef's favorites: Sashimi of yellowtail served with ponzu sauce; Beef Tataki, lightly seared and marinated in shiso, with egg yolk confit; Kara-age fried chicken, prepared following a family recipe and accented with daikon, the Japanese radish; Ramen in its purest form, with poultry consommé and a soy-marinated soft-boiled egg.
The menu also includes lesser-known recipes: Oyakodon, traditionally a bowl of rice topped with chicken and egg, reimagined here with thin slices of trout and fish roe; and Tsukemono, crisp pickled seasonal vegetables.
